What a wonderful idea to use the most advanced technology in the movie industry to show and display the most ancient drama and wisdom of humankind!  This is the root of all human beings, of where we all come from. 

I especailly like the theme in various place of the movie where it emphasized the joining/union of two things.  The ironic part is the Avatars use their tail - the already degenerated organ in a human - to achieve this union. 

May be it's really important that we all should go back and visit our past to leap into the future.

You as a Magician have personal power and gifts, and you as a Priestess have intuitive knowing, but unless those qualities are sustainable, they are all for naught. The Empress in us is all about life and its perpetuation. The Empress is our inherent drive to live, survive, sustain! Think about how to sustain yourself and others. What does that mean for you this year?

Make a resolution that you know is right (Priestess) and doable (Magician) for your renewal and sustainability. Recognize that your resolution is your destiny. Your nature is pulling you towards fulfilling your potential (apotheosis) by keeping your resolve. Surrender to this "future pull" and let the flow take you along.

As a life bearing woman gives birth, it's about surrender to the inevitable flow of natural creation. Give in. A resolution is like birthing a new part of you, so in truth, it's easier than we have been taught. Let go and don't get in the way by working hard and thinking it's only you that is at work here. There's a much bigger life force at work. Your resolution is your spiritual path and practice.

The laborious part of birthing is pain. It hurts to create. Change – ushering in the new and getting rid of the old is painful. We hold on to the habitual, and the more holding, the more pain. The Empress is brave, accepting the discomfort and even the agony. But it's impermanent, the pain will pass and ecstasy will come! Keep your eye and heart focused on the outcome, the most sacred thing of a new life and a new you!
